People are buying "Vehicles" but have No idea where to find the Gas!

People are opening Restaurants but have no idea what food is!
I could go on, but WHat I'm talking about here is that most people who are starting Home businesses have no idea on how to "market" that business. This is the reason why most people fail. Online and Offline.
It just amazes me at the amount of people that seek my assistance, turn right around and try to sell me on their business right after I told them that's not how you market your business.
That's like bringing your car you've had for ten years, with transmission problems, engine problems, and an empty Gas tank to a Master Car Mechanic. He tells you what's wrong with it and then tells you what is needed to get it moving,....and right after that you try to sell it to him. lol..Does that make sense to you?
This happens because people are refusing to see what is needed to be done to be successful because they are blinded by their Passion for that particular business.
They are blinded by the money they could possibly make if they should happen to recruit me.
They are blinded by the lies they were told that claimed they can make 30k in 30 days.
Passion is fine, but you need to take your blinders off too. You can love a "car" all you want but it will go "Nowhere" without gas....period. Don't blame me, blame Henry Ford.
Well this is the same for your business. Just think about this for a moment. How in the world can you open up a business, if you know nothing about attracting customers.
Your business "Can not" and "Will not" exist without Customers. Actually there are several variables about this you need to know.
- You have to know what "type" of customers that would be interested in "your" business
- You have to know the "buying" habits of those "targeted" customers.
- You have to know the "psychology" of those targeted customers to know what makes them buy
- You have to know that your customers are actually buying "You", not your product or your service.
I could go on, but the point I'm making here is that if you just got into a Home Business and you're excited about it, that's great....but your next step is now to learn HOW TO MARKET. You have to invest "time" and "Money" into your MArketing education.
IF you don't do this, I promise you, you will fail each and everytime.
But you don't have to fail. All you have to do is listen. Stop talking about your business for a moment and really ask yourself, "do I really know how to get Customers or prospects" If you answered "no I don't", then now is the time to stop and learn how to market from people who are willing to teach you.
The answers are everywhere. And when you find the Answers, You just have to be willing to listen and implement what was taught to you.
Go and find a Mentor, a Coach, and a community of people that think and talk like you in regards to entrepreneurship. Become the Student, so you can eventually become the Teacher and then pour what you know in to others who will desperately need your help.
That's what I did. And that's what I continue to do.
